It is with heavy hearts that the Wardcliff Neighborhood Association Board would like to thank and remember Jean Smith for her time, support and contributions in forming the Wardcliff Neighboorhood Association. Jean passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9th. Friends and family are invited to a memorial reception held on August 10th. 2013 Annual Meeting
The Wardcliff Neighborhood Association is a Michigan nonprofit corporation. Its mission is to build a community of neighbors sharing resources to solve common problems and encouraging good stewardship, cooperation and neighborhood friendship.
All members of the Wardcliff Neighborhood Association you are invited and encouraged to attend the second Annual Meeting of the Membership. This notice is also a reminder that your annual dues are owed on May 1st.

WNA eBoard Meeting Minutes – 20-MAR-2013
Meeting called to order at 6:45pm
Present at meeting:

Action on minutes:
Motion to approve 2/20 minutes made by Martin, seconded by John & unanimously approved
Treasurers Report:
No treasurers report today
Cabin Fever Follow up:
John thought it was a great event. Mentioned that we need to update the website with what happened at the event (currently still advertises the event). John will contact Brian re: updating the website. 40 attended. Great speakers.
For the next event, discussion about improving attendance.
Annual Meeting:
Tentative date of May 22nd at 7:00pm. Investigating locations. More to come once information is available. Esther may have more info in a couple weeks.
Yard Sale:
Discussion of whether to have it after the annual meeting. Dates thrown around included May 31-June 1 & June 7-8. Group decided that these were 2 good dates for the sale.
Membership:
Group needs to discuss paying dues for the coming year.
Publicity/Communication:
Nothing to report
Government Relations:
Quick discussion on the new Township Manager. Frank Walsh was offered to position.
New Business:
Discussion on Wardcliff School mission statement on hold until more info on the school is known.

2013 Cabin Fever Event
On Saturday March 2nd some forty Wardcliff area neighbors and friends gathered at the Edgewood United Church for the 2013 Wardcliff Neighborhood Association (WNA) Cabin Fever event. Despite the cold weather outside, the delicious snacks, hot coffee and friendly attendees helped to keep the atmosphere inside warm and relaxing. Fall Gathering 2012 Success!
The 2012 Wardcliff Neighborhood Association Fall Gathering took place on Wednesday, October 3rd at the Wardcliff School and was a great success. A crowd of around fifty residents turned out to enjoy cider and donuts, some social time and a Candidate Forum. The Forum was moderated by WNA President Mike Froh and featured presentations by ten candidates running for positions on the Meridian Township Board of Trustees. Continue reading
