2015 Annual Meeting

The Wardcliff Neighborhood Association is a Michigan nonprofit corporation. Its mission is to build a community of neighbors sharing resources to solve common problems and encouraging good stewardship, cooperation and neighborhood friendship.

Come to the WNA Annual Membership Meeting, everyone is invited!  Members of the Wardcliff Neighborhood Association in good standing (2015-2016 dues paid on or before April 30th, 2015) will be eligible to vote for the WNA board of directors.

Bowling Fundraiser for Meridian Township CRC Emergency Needs Fund

The Meridian Township Community Resources Commission (CRC) invites residents and businesses to participate in “Strike Out for a Cause” to benefit the Meridian Township CRC Emergency Needs Fund from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 19th at City Limits East Bowling Center located at  2120 East Saginaw Highway in East Lansing. Bowlers can pay $20 per person to participate.

I want to let you know the Lansing Board of Water & Light is ready. We have crews on standby, equipment and materials on hand, and a team that is eager to earn your trust.

You now have four ways to report an electric outage…
 
1.Call (877) 295-5001
2.Download the FREE Outage Center Mobile App available for Apple & Android
3.Text “OUT” or “OUTAGE” to 898295/”txtbwl” to report the outage, “STAT” or “STATUS” to request a status update, “HELP” to receive help information and “STOP” to stop texts
4.Launch BWL Outage Map to report your outage or check on property status online at www.lbwl.com

As we enter the new year, I do want to make sure that we continue to communicate proactively and I would like to attend any Neighborhood or Community Meetings you have scheduled.  I would welcome an invite to any of your regularly scheduled meetings, or if you’d like to schedule a special meeting covering any topic your community is interested in discussing…. From outage reporting, tree trimming concerns, preparedness training, energy savings ideas, or even “How to read your BWL bill”… I am at your service.

November 4th General Election For Precinct 12

Election Day for the Michigan General Election is Tuesday, November 4th.Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Registered voters may view a sample ballot by entering their voter
information online at www.michigan.gov/vote

Voters in Precinct 12 will vote at the former Wardcliff 
Elementary School building, 5150 Wardcliff Dr, 
East Lansing, MI 48823.

The Clerk’s Office will be open Saturday, November 1st from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to issue absentee ballots; this is also the last day ballots can be mailed to residents.

Absentee ballots are available in person through 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3rd. Ballots requested on November 3rd must be completed at the Meridian Township Municipal Building and cannot be taken out of the building. All voted ballots must be returned to the Clerk’s Office by 8:00 p.m. on
Election Day November 4th.

Voters at the polls must show a picture ID or sign an affidavit that they are “not in possession of a picture ID” before they are allowed to vote. For a complete list of Precinct locations or more information about the election visit the Township website at
